Any recommendation as to models?I am looking to install a whole house fan.Is there anyone here that has done this that can offer any advice?
Measure the size of your joists and get a model that needs either no cuts or the least amount of cutting. Install a timer switch so it can shut off automatically if needed. Get a model with good insulation or plan to insulate with an insulation blanket during the seasons that you are not using it. Go to your local supply house and ask for their advice based on the square foot size of your home and your joist size. Different regional suppliers tend to stock different brands and models. If you have an electrician to do the installation, they can suggest a brand and models available in your area..
