what does it mean if someone is constantly trying to make you jealous by complimenting others all the time but having nothing nice to say about you etc. why would someone want to make another person jealous. what would they benefit from it?Good advice would be appreciated?

They must not want u in their lives, it's disrespectful to u.

They would make themselves feel better by making you feel worse about yourself.

It depends on if it's just a friend or someone who wants to be more than. Sometimes, they want to know that you care, and by making you jealous, is one immature way to do that. :)
