You need to make a choice about you serving God. You cannot serve two masters, for you will either hate the one and love the other, or despise the one and live for the other. You need to decide to get out of the world and come back to God. After that you need to repent( confess your sins to God, and ask him for forgiveness) If you have the Holy Ghost it will it will be easier for you to live just for God.I am a christian but right now my life is so bad -i know that i could not be a witness to anyone-any advice?

Well didn't you become a Christian because you realized you could never clean yourself up enough to earn God's acceptance? So you admitted you were a dirty rotten sinner who needed the salvation that Jesus offers.
Ten minutes after you accepted Jesus or ten years after, you are still a Christian who is a dirty rotten sinner saved by God's grace.
Don't wait until your life is perfect (it never will be), just tell others that God will even save someone as bad as you.
Because you never know, the person you are talking to might think of themselves as way worse than you.
One of the things that allows God to work in our lives is identifying ourselves with Him. God will do the rest.

You might think this next sentence is weird, but here goes; Lucky You!! Do you know how many Christians have been raised in church and in a Christian family that never have had any issues to deal with? What I mean is that you have been a real person faced with dilemmas and choices and options. You have made some bad choices and now you know that you have drifted from that comfortable place near Jesus. Lucky you, you will have this experience for the rest of your life to minister to other people that have drifted too. You will be able to be a testimony to them from your first hand experience. Life gives you choices and most of us don't always pick the right choice, and your experience will help bring a wandering soul back to the fold. First you need to speak openly to God and repent. It's not unusual, most of us have drifted from time to time. Some of us have done awful things that are too awful to mention. I am one of those people. However, the good news is that God forgives and forgets your sin after you have been forgiven. The next step for you is to start helping others that are where you are now. Use your experiences to show the world that forgiveness is possible and you have the map that gets you to forgiveness. Yes, you will be a witness, Lucky you!!!! Good Luck
Stop thinking of yourself as bad. This is not true. Religion makes good people feel bad about themselves for no reason.
All religion is man made it all makes the same claim that it comes from God. This claim is partially true but people can never stand to leave Gods word alone. This is because god鈥檚 word is consistent and does not mesh well with their personal preconceptions and bigoted ideas. So they make little changes here and there injecting their thoughts into the mix tainting the word with nonsense. For this reason you should not put much faith in these ideas about god that come from others. If God wants to tell you something He is perfectly capable of telling you directly.
Maybe you should stop reading what other people say about God and ask him to tell you what he wants you to do directly. Stop reading; clear you mind and listen. When you pray get you鈥檙e talking over as soon as possible and listen. He is trying to talk to you but your mind is full of nonsense from the bible and other sources. Don鈥檛 be surprised if what you hear does not sound much like what you have been told about God. You will be hearing Gods message minus the nonsense.
In your bible study have you ever heard of the small still voice? You can't hear it if your mind is otherwise occupied with other people鈥檚 silly ideas about God. Just try it you will be surprised
I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from! Let me tell you what I know from experience...you CANT be a witness to anyone without going through something- that includes making choices that are not-so good. Why? because although Christ who is perfect lives in you, you are STILL human and your flesh is not yet made perfect. The Word says we are perfecting in christ, which is a VERB not an adjective- indicating a process not a magical occurrance. We all have sinned and come short of His glory, but you have the power of the HOly spirit as a christian because Christ lives inside of you. you have to make the choice to listen... I am also learning that the ONLY way to come against the enemy who is messing with your life is to READ AND SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD! Then the Holy Spirit with guide you and make your human spirit stronger and you can come out of this mess and share with other people the victory you have over sin! ';Put on the whole armour of God'; and you will be blessed. You will be fine- repent, rejoice, and live.
Remember those who violate godly standards of living do experience bad effects, sometimes they may seem to prosper for a long time. Jesus Christ who never did any wrong, was cruelly mistreated and put to death. So, in this system of things prosperity should not be viewed as proof of God's blessing, nor should adversity be considered proof of his disapproval. Also, Paul had ';a thorn in his side that he prayed to have removed, and what did God tell him? ';My undeserved kindness is sufficient for you'; In this system of things we will have woes, for we are imperfect, just try to keep in mind, what Matthew 24: 13 says, But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.';
Hang in there, and ';fight the fine fight of the faith, down to the end.';
Sister, everybody goes through things. Storms and beautiful days. What God is preparing you for is a testimony. Keep the faith sweetie. God is good and he never fails! Faith is the substance of what is hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Keep believing that God will bring you out and keep telling people how good he is. You have to trust and believe before you can truly witness. Use this time to pray. You will be suprised, by sharing what you are going through with another brother or sister, they may have words for you. On the other hand you be encouraging someone that is worse off than you are...Anyway it goes, you will be blessed. You just have to believe. I will pray for you!
I would ask: Why is your life so bad right now? Are you making bad choices? Are trials overwhelming you? Are you under attack? I have no word for you unless you give more info. Can't really generalize about this.
Sometimes the best witnessess are the ones that do not think that they are.
All of us go through trials and testings of our faith, how we deal with those tests and trials makes or breaks us and our committment to GOD.
Wish I knew what was hurting you so much, I could help you find that silver lining to show the hope that is there waiting for you to see it.
Even when its really bad, there is good to be found and thanking God for the little things helps sustain us during the hard times.

Jesus taught us to pray for every reason, James taught us to pray in the good times and the bad. You need to pray and ask God to relieve your spirit of whatever is troubling it.
Ask God for forgiveness, repent and go on with your life, don't let guilt to pull you down, move on. Get some quiet time with God, and you will be renew in spirit, soul and physically. Don't feel guilty, Jesus is waiting always for His children to come before His throne of grace, don't delay any longer, He is long to show you His love, compassion and forgiveness. or if it is so serious, and you can't do it yourself, you can get advice and help from some leader of the church that you trust.
There is a book that I have been teaching in our Sunday School class called Drawing near by John Bevere. It is a very good book. It is based on James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.
Then I would evaluate a couple things. First is the circumstance you are in are they self made or are they from outside circumstances. If they are self-made situations---(these are examples) such as doing drugs, financial problems or relationship issues, then you need to examine those problems and see what you can do to change them. IF they are outside circumstances like, your spouce left you, you lost your job and are in financial ruin, then call on the name of the Lord and ask him to change the situation for your Good. You profess you are a Christian, so you know that you are joint-heirs with Christ and you have benefits (psalms 103). If you are not a regular church attender, then look for a awesome house of worship and let your fellow belivers know what you are going through, so they can lift you up and help you through this trial. Remember, God is not through with you yet, you are going through this fire so that you will come out as pure Gold. Psalms 3:3.
try and turn your life around! then you'll have an amazing testimony!

#2--YOUR LIFE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO WITNESS TO SOMEONE, THAT'S NOT REALISTIC.
IF YOU FEEL MOVED TO WITNESS TO SOMEONE YOU NEED TO LISTEN AND DO IT. GOD SAID TO COME AS YOU ARE. NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND YOU OR WHATS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE IF YOU DENY HIM, HE WILL DENY YOU BEFORE HIS FATHER. WHATEVER YOU'RE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW MAY BE OF SOME USE TO SOMEONE ELSE. CHRISTIAN OR NOT NO ONE IS SKIPPING THROUGH LIFE PROBLEM FREE, AS A CHRISTIAN YOU HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF BELIEVING AND KNOWING THAT HE WILL GET YOU THROUGH ANYTHING. MAYBE THIS IS JUST A TEST OF YOUR FAITH. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER.
Even Job felt like that. but then, when his trials were done, he was a very good witness to God's love! he became 100 times more blessed then before his troubles started!
So just be patient, and wait till God deos something amazing in your life too!
Remember the God of the mountain is the God in the valley. The valley is where your faith is put to the test. Hang in there. I am here tonight because I have groin pull in both of my legs. I have been where my life has been so bad. I know what it feels like to not want to care anymore or just go to be with Jesus. I also know when I am at my weakest point Jesus can be at his strongest in my life. I will look to him and not elsewhere. This will build your resolve and faith in Him if you let it. Satan tested Job mightily. He is still busy today testing God's own.
Step on the solid rocks. Those places you know to be God's will. Pray, Worship, Be Thankful, Count it all Joy, Consider how far you have come and how far you have to go. He is faithful even when we are faithless. We are the ones who turn away, he never turns away from us because he lives in us.
Please clarify. Is your life bad in that bad things are going on, or is it bad in that you are not leading a clean life? If it is the latter, rest assured that God is ready to forgive. But true repentance means a turning back from the things you used to do, so you must try your best to avoid those things that cause you to stumble and fall (Mt 5:29). Try your best to follow what God says in the Bible and you will be on your way.
If, however, you feel like your life is going crazy and it is God who is letting you know he doesn't approve of you, know that with evil things God does not try anyone (Jas 1:13). Things happen sometimes, but it is not evidence of God's displeasure (Ec 9:11).
If you mean your life is bad because you have turned away from God, just remember the story of the prodigal son. How his dad came running out to meet him when he returned home.
That's how God feels about you.
If you mean your life is bad because of circumstances that are making you miserable, go to your bedroom and get on your knees and praise God for all the good things in your life. I mean it. I think He loves that because it shows faith in Him no matter what your life is going like.

Oh no hon, it is while your life is so bad that you can be a great witness to everyone. It is your attitude during times of strife and hardships that is the best witness of all ;)
Being a Christian, you know you can always repent for your sins. Remember, don't keep making bad choices when you know right from wrong. Continue to pray and always keep your faith in the Lord. He is forever watching over you and knows your every hope, dream, and desire in life. I don't know what you are going through, but you changing your life for the better is a true testimony and you can be a witness for someone going through a tough time in their life as well. Stay strong and push on. God loves you no matter what life brings you!
Realize that you need to take control of your life and that God is imaginary.
maybee if you looked to your Eggun (ancestors, thier spirits do walk with you also) light smoe candles to them, offer some flowers, honey and some rum, things will get better for ya. as far as the jesus thing? witness? take care of your buisiness before you have to witness, (no offense intended to the cristians) if you dont change the oil in your car, your jesus wont do it for you, before you donate to your collection plate, make sure you have enough to eat, worry about that witness stuff when you get your life straight a little (dont lose your faith tho) look, what good a witness would you be if you arent handling your buisiness, right? re arrange your priorities, when things strainghten out, go back to worrying about witness stuff, why you worried about witnesing? it is for you? or how youll be percieved? or is it about unselfish devotion to your lord, and faith, think about that.
We all have those times when our life is so bad, or we have even failed so much that we think we cannot be a witness. But you got alot of good advice, prayer is the key. God can help you through bad times and bring you out shining like gold, and able to be a better witness. If it is because you have failed, ask his forgiveness, and those around you and go on. It just proves you are human--hey! every hear that song--';He's still working on me, to make me what I ought to be!'; Dont give up!!
yas you could, but first you should use your own advise. stick your head up, ask and you shall recieve. GOD answers our prayers, but WHEN they need to be answered.

Today at church he preached about 1 Corinthians 6:12-21 and we had quite a response to the Altar call. I guess the Holy Spirit is at work today convicting people of the need to conform their lives to God's standards.
heres a idea take some time and study the reason why you feel the way you do and maybe meditate and seek a real answer in your heart it works for most people anyways and maybe get out of christianity its not worth it
Whatever is going on in your life right now...you are allowing it to control your life and how you feel. You should never allow anyone to do that to you.. Get down on your knees and pray to God to remove this burden off you, for now you are placing it in his hands to handle as he sees fit. Ask for help and it will be given saith the Lord.
